FAQs
What is K1 GNSS receiver?

K1 GNSS Receiver is a new generation GNSS RTK system, which is small, light and easy to carry and operate. It supports a calibration-free tilt compensation function immune to magnetic disturbances.

What accuracy can be achieved using a GNSS receiver?

They have different size and pin definitions.
High-Precision Static (RMS):-Horizontal: 2.5mm+0.1ppm - Vertical: 3.5mm+0.4ppm
Single Base Real Time Kinematic (RMS): -Horizontal: 8mm+1ppm -Vertical: 15mm+lppm
Network Real Time Kinematic (RMS): -Horizontal: 8mm+0.5ppm -Vertical: 15mm

And for tilt survey:

Tilt Compensation Accuracy (No tilt angle limit ): ≤2cm(within 60°)

How does RTK work?

RTK involves a stationary base station and one or more mobile Gps receivers, also known as rovers. Provided that the basestation has continuous line-of-sight to each rover, it transmits Gps corrections to each in real time using radio waves. lf asuffcient number of satellites are visible, RTK can provide a fixed position within centimeter-level accuracy.

How does IMU in RTK receivers work?

The IMU detects the receiver's tilt and motion. Combined with GNSS data, it calculates the true ground point even when the pole is not vertical, enabling fast, accurate stakeout and measurements without leveling.

What's the warranty of K1?

The K1 GNSS receivers comes with a one-year standard warranty period.
